Porter Cable 7424XP Swirl Buster Kit 6.5" Pads A MUST HAVE Elton Fernandez - 29th March 2013 Picked this up with the 6.5pads - Went with Orange Pad (For Meg's 105) White Pad (For Meg's 205) and a Black Pad (Zaino Z2). The unit is VERY durable, lasts a long time, also be sure to grab Snappy Pad cleaner as well and Brush Cleaner. EShine also sells it for a lot less with the kit, places like Canadian Tire, etc sell just for the polisher for this whole combo deal. 2. Porter Cable 7424XP Swirl Buster Kit 6.5" Pads PC Buffer Review GPS - 22nd May 2012 I’m parsimonious drive used vehicles (1997 Honda Accord and 2004 Chev Silverado) and bought a used topper for my truck. It was in rough shape. With half the savings on the topper purchase, I bought the PC buffer/polisher, Menzerna Kit, Gel Coat restore, Menzerna Power Lock sealant, and an bunch of pads. Took a couple days but changed the topper from crappy looking dull almond with black and brown stripes to gloss white. We have a 15 year old Honda Accord that was neglected for the 10 years before we got it. I then used the Menzerna kit and the PC buffer/polisher to take the maroon Honda from heavy swirl and spider web look to shiny and swirl free. Again, took a weekend but the results are fantastic. Looking forward to getting the truck done. Great support from the guys at eshine too. Highly recommend them for your automotive detailing needs. 2. I had never used any type of mechanical polisher/buffer on any automotive paint surface. I always applied everything by hand. After reading review after review, I decided to try this using some Menzerna polish and the end result was unbelievable. The swirl marks were completely gone, and there was a noticeable shine difference between what I had buffed, and what I had not. It does take a long time to do one car, but it is well worth it.
