One of the hallmarks of any good compound is the ability to level imperfections with minimal hazing. Optimum Hyper Compound Spray delivers! Optimum Hyper Compound Spray removes 1500 grit sanding scratches and finer, leaving very little haze. A unique blend of proprietary polymers and abrasives allows for rapid removal of sanding marks and deep paint imperfections and defects, like swirls and scratches, all while creating the look of a polish. Optimum Hyper Compound Spray is so easy to use. It is very "wet", which gives it a long buffing cycle (working time) and makes it easy to spread over the paint. Foam or wool pads simply glides over the surface on the wet compound. It's nearly effortless! As if Optimum Hyper Compound weren't already a remarkable product, it has another amazing feature - it's a spray! The spray formula enables you to apply compound to the entire pad with just a couple of pumps of the sprayer. When the entire pad is wet with compound, you're not dry buffing the paint. No dry buffing means no haze! This is one way Optimum Hyper Compound Spray is able to leave such a smooth finish, even though it's powerful enough to remove 1500 grit scratches!

Directions:

Shake well.

  1. Use a wool or foam compounding pad with a rotary buffer at 1300-1600 RPM. Optimum Hyper Compound Spray can also be used on an orbital polisher with excellent results.
  2. Use one to two sprays per 2 ft. area. You can spray the pad or the car panel. There is no need to apply additional product because Optimum Hyper Compound Spray has a long working time.
  3. Use light to medium pressure on the buffer until desired results are achieved.
  4. Wipe off residue with a dampened microfiber towel.
  5. Next use Optimum Hyper Polish Spray to remove any light hazing and restore optimum gloss.
  6. Apply Optimum Car Wax or the LSP (last step product) of your choice.

This stuff is just amazing, it cuts very well, and doesn't dry up like other compounds. You really can work this stuff a long time! I finish up with some poly seal, and voila, an amazing finish. Only thing I don't like is the spray bottle seems to shoo...
