Chemical Guys V32 Optical Grade Extreme Compound is the first extreme compound designed to eliminate heavy paint defects and imperfections from super-hard paint finishes. V32 is formulated for fast cutting with optical grade micro abrasives that restore both old paint finishes, and freshly-painted panels. The advanced compound cuts through heavy paint defects, swirls, scratches, and oxidation, and sets up paint for superior final polishing results. V32 Extreme Compound is the first water-based compound formulated to work on scratch-resistant and ceramic clear coat finishes.
The heavy abrasives work fast with true-cut accuracy; there are no fillers, so the results you see are the true results you get. The optical-grade abrasives quickly remove 1200-1500 grit sanding marks and heavy defects and scratches. V32 delivers fast cutting power with fewer passes to quickly restore conventional clear coat, ceramic clear coat, and traditional single stage paint finishes.

Body Shop Safe
V32 Optical Grade Extreme Compound cuts hard and cuts fast. Body shop professionals and experienced enthusiasts choose V32 for its ability to quickly and completely remove heavy scratches, swirls, oxidation, and even wet sanding marks up to 1200-1500 grit.
V32 makes short work of swirls, tree branch scratches, fingernail marks on door handles, paint scuffs, faded paint, and hazy headlight plastic. Pair V32 with a rotary polisher for an aggressive cutting combination to take down heavy defects quickly, or use V32 with a dual action polisher for fast cutting action that is safe for any paint type and finish.
Directions:
Work on cool surface. Shake well. Always work 2’ x 2’ section at a time.
DA Application:
- Apply 4-5 drops to desired pad. Prime pad with Chemical Guys Pad Conditioner. Spread on speed setting 1. Set DA machine to speed setting 5-6.
- Using moderate pressure, work area in 2-3 passes until compound becomes clear. Follow with light pressure to finish.
- Remove residue with clean microfiber cloth. Follow with V34 Optical Grade Hybrid Compound for perfect clarity.
Rotary Application:
- Apply 4-5 drops to desired pad. Prime pad with Chemical Guys Pad Conditioner. Set machine to between 1000-1500 rpms to spread product.
- Work in 2’ x 2’ section at a time. Using just the weight of the machine (no pressure) work area in 3-4 passes until compound becomes clear.
- For final pass adjust speed setting to between 1200-1800 rpms. Work until optical clarity is achieved.
- Remove residue with clean microfiber cloth. Follow with V34 Optical Grade Hybrid Compound for perfect clarity.
