It works much better the silicone spray. After a couple of months, I’ve yet to see any deterioration of the product. I’ve applied it to all rubber seals in my convertible.

Rubber dressing

One of the best, if not the best product I have found for lubricating , convertible top and all associated rubber pieces. Highly recommend it. Applicator sponge can fall off so I found it easier to apply to a separate small piece of sponge and then apply. Makes it easier to get into tight places as well. Believe it is recommended by a number of manufacturers; i.e BMW / Audi
